Fig is open! Our gorgeous new craft shop and studio is finally up and running.
Have a look here to see how it turned out. Six of us are working and selling
from here. Jane Ormes and Charlotte Harris already have lovely websites,
click on their names to link to them. The other artists are Helen Burgess,
Kate Tarling and Rosalind King.
The address is 206 Gloucester Road, BS7 8NU. We are next to Billie Jean's,
near Bishop Road if you know this part of the world! Opening times are
Thursday - Saturday, 9.30 - 5pm. Come and see us!
The piece above is brand new! It's part of my final project at college, based
on Victorian mourning jewellery, but somehow ending up looking very bridal.
There is a matching neckpiece which I'm working on right now.
There are many new items available, and I will be updating the site as
regularly as I can. All photos taken either by Clare Swayne or Anna Boulter.
Two galleries are currently stocking a large selection of pieces - there's the
Black Swan Arts in Frome, and the New Brewery Arts Centre in Cirencester.
